For foreigners living in Japan. A way to save your charge and time for overseas remittance for your family.

There is a usefull debit card "VISA debit card of Suruga Bank".
You can use it for shopping and withdrawing cash from many ATM machine in 7-11 covinent store or Japan Post.
But I show you a unique way for sending money for your family living in your home country.

When you send your money to your family living in your home country from Japan, you have to pay expensive charge for your overseas remittance, and spend your time to go to a bank from 9:00 to 15:00 only on week days.
(Overseas remittance is about 5,000yen. Hidden foreign-exchange charge is about 1,000~2,000yen per 100,000yen,and you often have to pay corres charge else. )

But there is an unique way to send your money to your family in your country by VISA debit card service of Suruga Bank, if you have VISA withdrawing services from ATM in your home country.
*the chargs are 1,630yen per 100,000yen(inclued hidden foreign-exchange charge) , 210yen for VISA and ATM fee/one time.
**There are some limittations for withdrawing moey at onetime and one day.

You can send your important money by cheaper charge and covieniently at night or on Saturday, Sunday.
(I think you need a person who understands Japanese well to open your account on the web site of Suruga Bank, and you are able to trust, if you can’t read Japanese well.)

But after opening your own account and getting 2 VISA debit cards,-One card is for you, and another card is for one of your family-
you don't need to pay expensive charge and spend important time of your daytime on weekday

*Free opening hours of 7-11 convenience store
Monday- Friday From0:30 to 23:30
Saturday, Sunday, holydays From9:00 to 21:00

*Free opening hours of Japan Post
Monday- Friday From7:00 to 21:00
Saturday, Sunday, holydays From9:00 to 17:00

*Important
One of your family doesn’t need to live in Japan and his(or her) alien registration card, certificate of residence, driving license, etc.
(only yours!)

This is the way to send your money by cheaper charge and conveniently.

. Open your account at Suruga Bank and get your own VISA debit card, if you have your alien registration card, certificate of residence, or driving license, etc.
*You can open your account from Suruga bank
(Sorry the web sites are written by Japanese)

.After a few weeks, you can get your VISA debit card from Suruga Bank by mail.
(Your address must be correct and same with your opening your account.)

. Ask your family card application document for one of your family to Suruga bank by phone or by other ways.
(You can get your family card soon.)

. Send your family card to your family in your country by your mail.
(Send your ID and password by phone or by other ways for your security.)

. Put in your money to your Suruga Bank account from a ATM of the 7-11 convenience store or Japan Post office .

.Tell your family about putting your money in your account, if necessary.

. Your family can withdraw your money from a VISA ATM cash service machine in your country quickly.

Hi guys. I need a little help here. I got the Suruga Bank Visa debit card and I want to link this card with PayPal. To confirm card with PayPal we need to see 4 digit numbers generated by PayPal in bank staitment.I can see charge from PayPal 200 yen but there is no number instead written in Japanese デビツトゴリヨウ.If someone had same experience please help. It took already 7 business days. What I can do wait or call them.

英語での入力ができないので日本語で答えます。

わたしはPayPalの支払いについてはスルガVISAデビットを使っていないので詳しいことはわかりません。
しかし、以下の説明を見つけました。
